Gergana Horozova's journey has taken her from Bulgaria to the United States, where she received her B.Arch from the Illinois Institute of Technology. Though trained in architecture, her heart always remained with painting.

Her practice reinterprets surroundings through abstracted expression: movement of lines, stillness of color, tints, and shades. Each canvas is an attempt to capture the essence of emotion and externalize it—her bare layers of emotional truth.
